In the framework of the Solid4B Cluster’s ongoing event series, this workshop will bring together key actors from across Europe to discuss the future of solid-state battery (SSB) technologies and their role in achieving strategic European goals such as the Green Deal, energy resilience, and industrial competitiveness.

Over the course of the morning, participants will engage with cutting-edge insights from the research, industrial and policy communities. The agenda includes a strategic opening on the European context, followed by a series of focused technical sessions exploring advances in solid electrolytes, interface engineering, manufacturing integration, and material optimisation under operando conditions. The event will close with an interactive roundtable, designed to spark dialogue, identify collaboration opportunities, and align efforts across the battery value chain encompassing not only speakers’ insights but also attendants’ feedback.

This workshop is aimed at professionals and decision-makers working in battery innovation, advanced materials, manufacturing, industries that require batteries and policy. It offers a unique opportunity to gain early access to new knowledge, connect with peers, and actively contribute to the evolution of the solid-state battery landscape in Europe.
