The article “Integration of lithium-ion battery recycling into manufacturing through digitalization: A perspective” has been published in Journal of Power Sources (2025).
This perspective paper highlights how digitalization can transform #BatteryRecycling by making processes more efficient, safer, and cost-effective, while enabling the integration of recycling into the manufacturing chain from the start. By leveraging Digital Twins, the authors propose a roadmap to foster a circular, collaborative, and sustainable battery value chain in Europe.
